Great place to start

Would be helpful if it also quizzed the location on keyboard.

Easy way to practice

Great for sight reading practice on the go. Also makes for a convenient note reference when you need it

Excellent way to learn your notes

Makes it fun to learn the musical notes

Great and easy

The testing is fun and easy. A great tool.

Exceptional

This is an exceptional app. Essentially it is a game where it throws notes from the bass or treble clef at you and you select the corresponding notes. The app works flawlessly and tracks progress, which is beneficial and inspiring.

More options would be great

I teach string orchestra, and I would love it if this app gave a choice of clefs. My violin students only need to learn treble clef, my violists need to learn alto and treble clef, cellists need to learn bass, treble, and tenor clef, and bass students need to learn bass clef. This app only seems to cater to piano students.

Very good practice

This app is a very fun and sometimes challenging way to practice site reading.

Simple app but just what I needed.

I only needed to have a supplement for learning how to read piano notes and this provides what I need.

Helpful

This is really useful and helpful for first time learners. Now I can play pit percussion in school.

Feature idea

Im able to sight read the notes into their note names and then go from note names to the keyboard. Im getting faster overall, but Id like to run out of time on each question rather than overall so that I learn to associate the notes on the clef with the the keys on the keyboard instead of trying to speed up my translation processes. If each note flashed by too quickly to translate, it would force me to react rather than read slowly. Im thinking maybe 3 seconds with a countdown would be good.

The best, most intuitive app so far. Needs full 88 keys option though.

This is the only app I use now after trying several. It is by far the best, most intuitive, and most flexible FREE app there is for sight reading practice. Heck, its even better than paid apps. Best, as in full functionality with no restrictions to make you purchase anything. Intuitive, as in easy to use and easy to look at, very clean and neat. Flexible, as in all the options you need and mix around with to suit your needs (I prefer do,re,mi, but was taught C,D,E - so now I have the option to choose, including people who were taught B as H). However, I have played songs that went all the way up to C8 (the 88th key), but this app only goes up to E6 on treble. I am saddened by that and would look forward to an update to include all 88 keys. It is the only reason I rate it a 4 star. In the meantime, Ill have to practice with my home-made flash cards instead which has always worked for me, but an app makes me WANT to practice more... :(.

Smooth

This app is pretty darn smooth. Definitely a source of information in a very neat way .

Great app!

Options to focus on either bass or treble or both. Very nice Apple Watch app as well. Thank you developers!

Great app!

It has helped me tremendously in to read music. It has been very beneficial.

Fantastic app

I love thats its free and so well made! But Id also love to be able to export my scores over time, so that I could make cool graphs to show my friends. Itd also be amazing to have different ways of representing scores over time; like just for treble clef, or just for bass clef, or for these ranges of notes on this clef, etc.

Love it

Does exactly what it says, It helps me identify notes faster. Definitely recommend. Only thing that could be improved is if there was also a no timer option.

Its Perfect.

I love how simple and pure this app is.

Super

Exactly what I was looking for! Simple and efficient! Thank you!
